宗教在游戏中代表了“建制宗教”(organized religions)。

population满足阈值(5)时,宗教将自动建立。每当某一宗教的信徒数量积累到阈值(40/80/160/320),玩家便能给该宗教增加tenets,以获得特定增益。Holy Sites有宗教归属,支配某一宗教Holy Sites最多的empire,会自动成为该宗教的宗教领袖。

Religions are founded at a certain level of population. As the number of followers grows, the player is able to add tenets to the religion granting certain bonuses. The leader of a religion is the empire with the most Holy Sites dedicated to that religion.

每个civilization都有一个国教, 而每个territory都有一个主流宗教。一个territory主流宗教向周边territory传播的强度,取决于territory Faith faith产能。

改变宗教[编辑 | 编辑源代码]

当一个有别于你国教的异教,在你的territories之一占有20%的宗教影响力时,它便满足了civilization改变国教的最低门槛。如果玩家打算放弃放弃原先自有的国教而改宗,玩家将从它的tenets获得增益。但改宗会在数 Turn turns内影响玩家的cities Stability stability。在这些 Turn turns期间,玩家将丧失所有宗教影响力(religious influence),全国人口受外国宗教影响而被转化。
